Right around the time Garth Ennis' "Preacher" was huge, and Kevin Smith's "Dogma", and "City of Angels" came out, I realized there was lot's of stuff focusing on angels having their own mind and turning their back on God.

I thought, "Hey, what if God noticed this too, and to make a point, he picks 3 angels to randomly cast out of heaven until they 'make amends.'"

So they communicate to heaven through a TV in the window of a Pawn shop.

I might still do that idea someday. Provided the climate is right.
