A picture drawn while at Ozzfest in Vancouver.
Perhaps one of the reasons I'm now vegan, is my deep-rooted subconscious belief that Ice-Cream isn't all that it's cracked up to be, and is in fact, something quite deadly and malicious! Here is the proof!
NEVER eat ice cream while at Ozzfest!

Two frames of a practice comic page I was working on in 1999.
Can't remember what any of it was leading up to, but considering my train of thought back then, Batman was probably going to show up.

A collection of practice drawings for characters in some sort of story I was working on, around the turn of the century.

After working for a company that received a lot of damaged parcels in the mail, with little or no options to do anything about it, I got the desire to draw a 50's retro like picture of a postman standing over a destroyed package with a "Gee Whiz.... That parcel's all messed up." shrug. This is the first attempt.

Because I walk or ride the bus everywhere, when I do get a car ride, I could say I get excited.
However, for the last 10 odd minutes of this ride, the kid in the backseat was threatening to throw up. I say threatening, because my gut tells me he wanted the attention that the road was getting from his mom.
Please note, I made the effort to draw in seatbelts, lest it appear that I'm reckless when it comes to automobiles.

This guy 'delivers newspapers for a living'
He's in an all-night convenience store.
This is a character idea for a stop-motion short film idea where a few unlucky people in an all-nighter get taken hostage by people trying to break into a money-mart next door.
In this pic, I wanted to convey the harsh, cold, gritty fluorescent lights of a convenience store, and I think I pulled it off.

For the environment, I remembered what Greg Capullo said in a drawing lesson about setting, specifically interiors.
Fill them with as many props as you can. Props make the interior.
Well, that's close to what he said. It was in a Wizard Comics magazine from around the time he was pencilling Spawn.
Upon returning to this image, I'm struck by how funny it is for the "Devil" to look like a lounge singer crossed with TV-Show host.

Charles E. Grapewin (December 20, 1869, Xenia, Ohio – February 2, 1956, Corona, California) was an American vaudeville performer, and a stage and film actor.
Grapewin first worked as an aerialist and trapeze artist in a traveling circus before turning to acting. He performed on stage with various stock companies and wrote stage plays as a vehicle for him to star in.
He married actress Anna Chance and they remained a devoted couple until her death some 47 years later. Grapewin began in silent films around the turn of the century and almost forty years later appeared as Uncle Henry in the movie The Wizard of Oz. During his long career, Grapewin appeared in more than one hundred films, one of them being Tobacco Road (1941), a version of the hit Broadway play and novel that was supposedly played for laughs.
I added the squirrel. They never knew each other.
