The Excitable Dragon Pig!
	A character of my own creation, the ever 'Excitable and Always A Best Friend' Dragon Pig. Bucking the trend of typical humanoid animal cartoons, he would be arrested if he wasn't wearing boxers... Tree-Monster
	Just had the notion to draw a monster, and it turned out to be some sort of tree / forest spirit / bad dream thing. It would seem to be totally comfortable in a movie series like Lord of the Rings and the like. My favorite part is the odd perspective on it, and the look on it's face. Texture and Shading Shapes, Faces and Places #1 #3
	Abstract swirls with some smearing. Forget the planning - it's great to loosen up with a scribble and work the muscles in the hands in a new way. Tom Waits once said something like "Your fingers will tend to go to the same places they always do - so you gotta break em. Force them to learn something new, different." New Crayon Test Drive
	Got a new box of Crayons - but inside mechanical pencil-like holders - had to give them a work-out. Shapes, patterns, abstraction, practice. [New_Crayon_Test_Drive.php]

Monster and MonsterGoneMaker Gun called Bertha
	Much like the "I call her Vera" joke in Firefly when Jayne tries to trade his favorite gun to Mal, back in 2000 this guy called his gun Bertha. Tough Guy Hitmen Designs
	No easier way to make a character look bad-ass than dressing them in a trench coat - unless it's a polka dot trenchcoat. That looks like the Punisher on the right hand side. [Tough_Guy_Hitmen_Designs.php]

First Page of a SketchBook
	I mentioned this before, but I had an old habit of doing something special for the first page of every sketchbook. Instead of just getting right away to the sketches, there was some sort of welcoming thing / image. [First_Page_of_a_SketchBook.php]

Colossus Getting his arm Chopped off
	Waaay before I read a 'What If' comic where Colossus get's his arm cut off, I drew this. Weird eh? As far as depictions go, I think the Silvestri Outback Colossus is by far the best. The attempts to streamline him miss the point - he's called Colossus, so keep him big, bulky, and old legend like. [Colossus_Getting_his_arm_Chopped_off.php]
