And don't you forget it, y'all!
Growing up, my brother loved monster trucks, and so I got to see my fair share of them on TV.

I was walking home one night with some Vegan Chinese Food leftovers, and came across this very friendly cat that is usually always out.
This cat is so friendly that it starts purring and will start kneading your knee while it stands on it's hind legs.
After my poor knee had as much as I could take, I started back home but I noticed someone walking up towards me, obviously seeing me petting this cat, and I wondered to myself what it looks like or what they think.
And this picture idea popped into my mind.

Obviously, it locked it's key's in the car, and is not a happy.
The ED-209 from Robocop was a very influential Movie Robot growing up.

Years ago I did a drawing based off a Chris Bachalo drawing of the Neil Gaiman 'Sandman' character. I ended up giving it to my brother, and he liked it so much he put it on his bedroom door.
So, visiting home again, I decided to do another version of the drawing, making it much more complicated and scribbly, and here it is. Not the raw scan, but I used a little blurring to make it less not-blurry.

For the environment, I remembered what Greg Capullo said in a drawing lesson about setting, specifically interiors.
Fill them with as many props as you can. Props make the interior.
Well, that's close to what he said. It was in a Wizard Comics magazine from around the time he was pencilling Spawn.
Upon returning to this image, I'm struck by how funny it is for the "Devil" to look like a lounge singer crossed with TV-Show host.

Monsters are another subject matter I used to always draw as a kid.
In all shapes and sizes, funny, gruesome, and toothsome.
In revisiting that subject matter, I present to you; "Stampy the Hairy Monster"
What's more gruesome than a poor monster with the inability to put a stamp on an envelope? Ahem.. "Oh, the horror."
Also, I don't think I ever drue such a hairy monster.

A lowly floor retail service employee is balking at the barrage of 'Early Bird' shoppers, barely held at bay by the store doors.
Luckily his supervisor has a iron will, and will not let those doors open until 9:00 exactly.

I came up with this idea while thinking about making an image to explain the 'Humanoid Manipulator' name of the website. Humanoid Manipulator actually refers to a robots 'hand', so to speak.
Looking for a cartoony retro robot feel to it. Dials & Mad Doctors et al.
It had been finished only a day when the Illustration Friday topic 'Invention' came up conveniently.
